SENDIASS Volunteers needed:

Do you have an interest in Special educational needs, worked in Education or are a parent of a child or Young person with Special needs. Would you like to support other parents/carers in navigating their SEND Rights and the SEND laws?

If the answer is yes, then maybe SENDIASS is the service for you to volunteer with. 

* We can offer free SEN legal training via IPSEA

* you get to support Families in Waltham Forest ensuring they are given the correct information to Advocate for their Child/Young person

* Looks great on your CV

* Opportunities for further training and Development.

* Volunteer events

All we ask is you're a great listener, be able to communicate well with Families, Professional and of course your team, are computer literate (as there will be recording and emails), but most of all be understanding of the Clients feelings and reason's for contact.
