Get Involved
There are lots of different ways that you can get involved and support our work. Take a look below on how you can join the team in making a difference in you local community.
Recruiting SENDIASS Volunteers
We are currently recruiting volunteers to join our busy, energetic and friendly team!
Waltham Forest SENDIASS is increasing its resources and has ambitious plans to continue to develop it’s services to children, young people and parent/carers in Waltham Forest.
SENDIASS volunteers support our SENDIASS team to ensure all clients receive timely support and guidance. This is an excellent opportunity to get a broad understanding of SEND matters and local issues that affect your local community. Waltham Forest SENDIASS recognises the invaluable support of our volunteers and prides ourselves on developing our teams.
They may be able to:
-
Help you to express your views, wishes and feelings in writing.
-
Provide you with information, advice and support to enable you to participate in decisions made about your child
-
Assist us in increasing awareness of our service and attending events in the community.
Please contact on [email protected] Donna Wiggins (SENDIASS Manager) or [email protected] Caroline Grimshaw (Volunteer Co-Ordinator) for more information.
